Our Principal, David Waltzer, started out as a New York City school teacher. He saw the difference it made when parents could spend evenings with their children. This privilege led to better emotional outcomes in children. It also led to better academic outcomes. After teaching, David founded a non-profit for at-risk youth and worked as a small business consultant in Manhattan. Seeking greater impact, he went to law school and worked as a consultant for the United Nations. In 2007 he formed a law firm dedicated to helping financially distressed businesses and individuals to get back on their feet. This included filing tens of thousands of bankruptcies, and consulting daily with business owners. David repeatedly the advantages experienced by firms with outsourced labor. During this time he also started his own family and became the proud father of four amazing children.
